The Mark is a student, off-campus apartment complex located in downtown Athens. The Mark is a hub for students seeking a resort-style college living experience at UGA. With the addition of a new building, it now houses over 1,300 students, with floor plans ranging from studios to five-bedroom suites. The Mark offers an infinity-edge rooftop pool, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, golf simulator, gym, game room, study rooms and lounges, outdoor firepit and grill, free tanning beds and an internet cafe. Additionally, apartments at The Mark are pet-friendly and come fully-furnished.

2. The Standard
Address: 600 N Thomas Street, Athens, GA 30601
Year Built: 2014
The Standard is a large, luxury apartment complex located in downtown Athens, about a 10-minute walk to the Arch. The Standard features an infinity-edge rooftop pool, group study lounges, yoga studio, racquetball court, gym, sauna, game room, rooftop grill and lounge, as well as a patrol officer. The Standard is pet-friendly and offers fully-furnished floor plans from studios to five-bedroom apartments.

3. Uncommon Athens
Address: 165 E Dougherty Street, Athens, GA 30601
Year Built: 2016
Uncommon Athens, located on Dougherty Street, is just steps away from everything downtown Athens has to offer. With the option of one-, two-, or four-bedroom apartments, there’s a place for everyone. Uncommon offers a gym, private study rooms, coffee bar, sauna and an outdoor entertainment deck. While you are walking distance from downtown and class, Uncommon also has a private, covered parking garage for residents.
4. Georgia Heights
Address: 150 W Broad Street, Athens, GA 30601
Year Built: 2015
Georgia Heights is an eight-story, 266 unit apartment complex located on Broad Street, which divides UGA’s campus and downtown Athens. This building offers furnished or unfurnished one-, two-, and four-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include a pool, fitness center and clubhouse featuring booths, a TV and billiards. Many of the apartments at Georgia Heights have large windows, allowing for a view of downtown. Additionally, Georgia Heights apartments are located directly above CVS pharmacy, and steps away from Target.

5. 100 Prince
Address: 100 Prince Avenue, Athens, GA 30601
Year Built: 2020
100 Prince contains 110 units, with one- and two-bedroom floor plans available. Located in downtown Athens, 100 Prince offers a historic landmark chapel, which has been converted into a restaurant, as well as parking and bike racks. Rather than typical amenities like a pool or gym, this student apartment complex has retail space on the ground level, including a full-service grocery store. This urban-living community allows for pets and is suited for more relaxed, quiet living than other student housing options in Athens.
6. The Maxxen
Address: 230 N Finley Street, Athens, GA 30601
Year Built: 2022
The Maxxen, a short walk to downtown and campus, offers studios as well as one- to four-bedroom floor plans. This property offers a roof-top pool and lounge, private outdoor courtyard, gym, weight training and cardio studio, and study spaces on every floor. The Maxxen, which “puts personality in student living,” opened its doors to students in 2022. Apartments at The Maxxen come fully-furnished with a restaurant and retail spaces on-site.
